Rob Perry

Rob was sporty from day 1. Having discovered an ability for running at a young age, he ran cross-country through primary school days winning the local championships on multiple occasions. He progressed to win the ISA National Cross-Country Championship 2 times during his secondary school years, as well as representing and captaining Devon county schools Athletics team.

In Athletics he continuously won area and national championships in 800m and 1500m and after badgering his Head of Sports Science dept to be given the chance, Rob was allowed to run the 100m sprint. He went on to reach the national finals of the 100m sprint too, taking home bronze.

Along side this, aged 11, Rob was scouted for Torquay United F.C and played for them right through until 19 years old. Injury set in and, after attending Keele University in Birmingham for extensive rehabilitation, a move to Bath for rehabilitation took him from Devon up the M5.

After bowing out with an injury, he returned home to Devon for a while and continued as a gym fanatic whilst studying in social care and working with the learning disabled and mental health community.

Rob remained actively involved in sporting activities and became a fully Qualified level-3 Personal Trainer, Sports Nutritionist and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) qualified trainer.

Rob also spent 3 years touring Europe in his Alternative/Brit Indie band 'Hey Molly'. After supporting acts such as Muse, The Pigeon Detectives, Zane Lowe, Calvin Harris, The Holloways, Frank Turner, Jack Penate and many more, they have called a hiatus on the band. Rob remains musical active still and his new venture 'DeadMen' have recently signed their first record deal.

Today Rob plays football when time permits and is of course training regularly in various sporting disciplines. He is a huge fan of outdoor activities and ventures back down to Devon often to visit Dartmoor where climbing, abseiling, rambling and running are among various ongoing activities. Rob is continuously looking to further his knowledge of nutrition and its effects on both sports performance and skeletal and muscular functionality.
