Peter Morton
Peter is a REPs Level 3 Registered Personal Trainer with a background in running and athletics. After playing football to local youth level, he had to decide whether to pursue football, or running. With county representation in Cross Country and a Marathon running father, running won. He completed his 10K in 45mins and first half marathon in 2003 in 1hr 56 - respectable, but not world beating...
After qualifying as a Personal Trainer with Lifetime Health & Fitness in 2005, Peter has applied his knowledge to his own training and has reached Elite level in competitive road running, with a Half Marathon pb of 1:18, and getting faster. In this time, he has also managed to indulge his hobby of trekking and climbing and has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro & to Mount Everest Base Camp.
Peter has worked in a number of gyms and health clubs in his years in the Fitness Industry. Through delivering one-to-one and group sessions, and leading social running groups & tough circuits classes, he has successfully trained a variety of people, from those training for 10Ks, Marathons, through Pregnancy & even those with chronic joint and mobility issues.
He is a firm believer that clients will reap the rewards of Personal Training with him if they put in the effort & commitment to training & living a healthy lifestyle.
He says;
'Personal Training sessions with me are tough but enjoyable and I always aim to give my clients the knowledge, motivation and drive to achieve whatever goals they may have'.
